What happened? Microsoft officially announced today that the brand-new Kin line of phones is now discontinued.
Kin, is a series of two phones aimed at the young teenage market. Some of the very interesting attributes include the innovative cloud-based backup service. One of the biggest problems plaguing the Kin is branding confusion and its uncertain place in the phone industry. The race for some of the top broadband providers to provide ultrafast broadband.
Case Western Reserve University will run a test in Cleveland, May 2010. It plans to allow residents of more than 100 homes to be able to download data at about 1 gigabit per second.
